Szymon Karl is a multifaceted individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as a writer, producer, actor, and President of Szymon Say'z Productions. Born in Poland, Szymon's unique life experiences have shaped his diverse outlook on life, both personally and professionally.
At the tender age of four, Szymon and his family embarked on a harrowing escape from Communist Poland, seeking freedom in the United States. This formative experience would later influence his artistic pursuits.
Music became a source of comfort and peace for Szymon, who began studying piano at a young age and performed his first concert at six. He was also given the opportunity to sing with the Atlanta Boy's Choir at eight. These early passions would be cemented by Steve Martin's role in "Simple Twist of Fate".
Service was a strong thread that ran through Szymon's family, and he followed in his father's footsteps by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, Szymon returned to Atlanta to begin his entrepreneurial journey.
Szymon's acting career took off in 2006 when he was accepted by People Store, the highly respected talent agency, which landed him a supporting role in Motives 2. This launched him into his first TV series, October Road with Touchstone Television.
As Szymon's acting career progressed, he transitioned from producing business meetings to music videos while acting, realizing it was time to start a production company. Szymon Say'z Productions was born, and he went on to work on various projects, including Terrell Carter's music video "Thick Girls", Tyler Perry's film "Meet the Browns", and David O. Russell's "Nailed".
Tragedy struck when Szymon lost his best friend in a fatal car crash, who had been his partner in pursuing his dreams and heading to an audition. Szymon knew he had to live out his friend's dreams for both of them and moved to Los Angeles, where he got work early on as a Supervising Producer for TV's One's Cathy Hughes Show and BET's Sunday Best.
Szymon also produced and acted in "A Warm Wind", the critically acclaimed and commercially successful film about the Gulf War. Today, he continues to pursue his passion for bringing cause-related work to the entertainment industry, working on various projects, including The Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club Film Festival and the musical feature film "The Perfect Love Song", which aims to bring understanding to the world about the difference between thinking of a perfect life and capturing happy moments.
