Biography

Sybil Danning, a statuesque 5'7" blonde beauty, has solidified her position as a cult B-movie queen, captivating audiences with her dynamic and commanding presence on screen. Born in Austria to a US Army major and an Austrian mother, Sybil's early life was marked by frequent moves between army bases in New Jersey, Maryland, and Sacramento, California.

As a model, Sybil's career transitioned seamlessly into film, making her debut as the tragic and beautiful Lorelei, a German legend who threw herself into the Rhine River in despair over a faithless lover, only to transform into a siren who lured fishermen to destruction. Her subsequent role as Nibelungen princess Kriemhild showcased her versatility, as she turned from a princess to a she-devil, seeking revenge for the death of her love Siegfried at the hands of her brutal Burgundian King brothers.

Sybil's passion for acting led her to study for three years with renowned German drama coach Anne-Marie Hanschke, paving the way for her to appear in multiple mainstream European and American films. When offered the lead role in a prestigious Francis Durbridge play for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, Sybil opted for Hollywood instead.

Her Oscar-nominated performance in the Best Foreign Film "Operation Thunderbolt" (also known as "Mivtsa Jonathan"),alongside Klaus Kinski, served as a calling card for her impressive range. Her role as the vivacious Valkyrie warrior "St. Exmin" in the science-fiction cult classic "Battle Beyond the Stars" introduced Sybil to fans worldwide, earning her multiple awards.

In recent years, Sybil has continued to captivate audiences with her rare beauty, sexiness, and toughness, taking on a wide range of roles, including a tough prison inmate, a formidable swanky swordfighter, a wicked werewolf queen, a cunning femme fatale English professor, the Queen of the Moon, a wicked warden, an alien queen, a loyal LAPD officer, and a brave bounty hunter, among others.

Sybil has also ventured into the world of comics, with two titles to her name, and is currently in discussion for an action TV series based on her character RUGER. After taking a hiatus due to personal reasons, Sybil returned to the screen in "Grindhouse" as a Nazi villain and "Halloween" as a nasty nurse, showcasing her enduring appeal. With her recent resurgence, Sybil is back in action, ready to captivate audiences once again with her unique blend of beauty, sex appeal, and toughness.
