Biography

Svetlana Cvetko is a multifaceted filmmaker, serving as both director and director of photography. Her feature-length directorial debut, the award-winning "Show Me What You Got", is an homage to the French New Wave and its rule-breaking spirit. This cinematic masterpiece has garnered widespread critical acclaim, with MadMass Cinema in Italy praising it as "A work of courage in search of the meaning of life" and FilmThreat describing it as "a captivating well-acted story with great style".

The film tells the poignant story of three twentysomethings, Marcello, Nassim, and Christine, who form a ménage à trois and struggle to prove their worth to their families and the world around them. "Show Me What You Got" has already made a significant impact in the festival circuit, having won five awards and earning one nomination in just eight festivals, including the prestigious Grand Jury Prize awarded by Oliver Stone at its world premiere in Taormina, Italy.

In addition to her work as a director, Svetlana has also made a name for herself in the genre film realm with "Deadly Switch", starring Dylan Walsh, Teri Polo, and Danika Yarosh, which is currently available on Netflix. Her short autobiographical film "No War" received the Grand Prix du Public at Films de Femmes, while her documentary "Yours Sincerely, Lois Weber" took home the Best Documentary award at LA Shorts Fest.

Svetlana's background is rooted in cinematography, with a wealth of experience working on critically acclaimed documentaries.
