A talented individual, she began her journey as a dancer, participating in the renowned dance reality show "Dance Bangla Dance Junior" on "Zee Bangla" at the tender age of nine, ultimately becoming a semi-finalist in the 2007-2008 season.
Her foray into the world of cinema commenced with the film "Aaynate" in 2008, directed by the accomplished Dulal Dey. This was followed by her work in "Chirasathi" (2008),directed by the seasoned Haranath Chakraborty, and then "Maati -O- Manush" (2009),directed by the esteemed Sisir Sahana.
Her repertoire of films also includes "Jiban Rang Berang", directed by the talented Sanghamitra Chowdhury, and "Antim Swash Sundar" (2010),directed by the accomplished Kris Alin. Additionally, she has worked on the television series "Durga", aired on "Star Jalsa".
In 2012, she collaborated with the celebrated director Aparna Sen on the film "Goynar Baksho" (2013). Her other notable projects include "Golpo Holeo Shotti" (2014),directed by the skilled Birsa Dasgupta, and "Megher Meye" (2013),directed by Pallab Kirtania, which is yet to be released.
Most recently, she has worked on the highly anticipated film "Open Tee Bioscope" (2015),a Shoojit Sircar production directed by the versatile Anindya Chatterjee, who is also the lead vocalist of the popular band Chandrabindoo. The film is expected to release in April 2014.
