Sun Park, a talented and ambitious actress, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Seoul, Korea. She began her journey in the entertainment industry, showcasing her remarkable on-screen presence and dedication to her craft, quickly making her a name to watch in the industry.
Following her undergraduate degree in Christian religion from Ewha Women's University in Seoul, Korea, Sun Park ventured to the United States to pursue a degree in theology at Boston University. After a year, she transferred to Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she earned her Master's degree in theology.
Despite her father's wishes for her to follow in his footsteps and become a minister, Sun Park chose to pursue her passion for acting, relocating to Los Angeles, California. Her decision led her to the renowned Theater department at UCLA, where she received her Master's degree in acting under the guidance of twice Tony-winning director, writer, and professor Mel Shapiro.
Sun Park has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, appearing in a variety of notable productions. Some of her notable roles include the upcoming film Transplant (2024),produced by Forest Whitaker, as well as the FOX Hit TV show 911: Lone Star (2021),the Amazon series Tell Me Your Secrets (2021),NCIS: LA (2018),Southland (2010),and more.
She has also had recurring roles in popular TV shows such as Everybody Hates Chris (2006-2008),Two and a half men (2008),and Spa Night (2016). Her impressive performances have earned her recognition, including a 2023 Best Supporting Actress Nominee for the Feature Film 'Above the Clouds' at the Next Generation Indie Film Awards.
