Suehyla El-Attar is an award-winning Atlanta-based actor/writer. Born in Starkville, Mississippi, she is a first-generation Egyptian American. Throughout her life, she has spent time in various countries, including Iraq, Kuwait, Israel, the West Bank, the Netherlands, and Egypt, in addition to the United States.

As a professional stage actress since 2004, El-Attar has worked with numerous companies in Atlanta, including The Alliance Theatre, Horizon Theatre Company, Synchronicity Theatre, 7Stages, Dads Garage, Georgia Ensemble, Essential Theatre, PushPush Theater, and the late Theatre in the Square.

El-Attar's work has taken her to various international locations, including the Netherlands, where she was part of a historic, first, female-led-co-ed Islamic Service held in the United States.
