Sue Bond was born on May 9, 1945, in Aylesbury, and she is a renowned British actress and singer, best known for her appearances on Benny Hill's show in the early 1970s.
Her acting career began in the late 1960s with her debut in the 8mm glamour/girlie films of George Harrison Marks, which included the bizarre films "Hot Teddy" and "First You See It". These early softcore films showcased Sue's versatility as an actress, with her playing a naked fantasy woman who appears and disappears in the hero's various rooms in "First You See It".
Sue's early film roles also included "Coitus - An Experience in Motion and Emotion", which adopted a pseudo-sex-education approach, and "The Nine Ages of Nakedness" (1969),a feature film by Marks. She also appeared in "The Yes Girls" (1971) and "Bizarre" (1970),and had a brief appearance in "Anne of the Thousand Days" (1969).
In the 1970s, Sue became a regular cast member on "The Benny Hill Show", appearing for three years between 1970 and 1973. She was one of the longest-serving female cast members of the pre-Hill's Angels era.
As her acting career progressed, Sue began to take on more character roles in sitcoms. In 1975, she claimed to Titbits magazine that her ambitions were to become a Bond girl in a James Bond film and to appear in Anton Chekhov's "Three Sisters". Although neither of these goals was realized, Sue did appear in a Bradford theatre production of "Jack and the Beanstalk" alongside Charlie Drake in the same year.
In addition to her acting career, Sue also pursued a second career as a singer, performing mainly on the club circuit in northern England. Her last acting credit was in the short-lived revival of "Mind Your Language" in 1986, although she continued to perform as a singer on the cabaret circuit into the early 1990s.
