Biography

Steven Severin, born Steven John Bailey on September 25, 1955, is a multifaceted English artist, boasting a wide range of talents that include songwriting, composing, multi-instrumentalism, and production. He is most notably recognized as the bassist of the influential rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees, which he co-founded in 1976 and remained a vital part of until the group's disbandment in 1996.

In addition to his work with Siouxsie and the Banshees, Severin was also a member of the short-lived but intriguing band the Glove. Following the dissolution of Siouxsie and the Banshees, Severin went on to create his own record label, aptly titled RE:, through which he released a series of instrumental albums, making them available exclusively to fans via his official website.
