Mr. Goldfried's professional journey began as an unpaid intern at Tollin/Robbins Productions in January 2002, during the company's peak success. As an office Production Assistant, he was responsible for various tasks, including reviewing scripts. When the script for "Radio" arrived, he was sent to South Carolina to shoot behind-the-scenes video, which was later featured in the special features on the DVD.
Following his work on "Radio," Mr. Goldfried returned to Los Angeles and coordinated the documentary "Hardwood Dreams: 10 Years Later." Shortly after, he relocated to North Carolina and joined the production team of "One Tree Hill" as a set Production Assistant and Locations Assistant, concurrently shooting behind-the-scenes video to promote the show. He worked on the show for its first two seasons.
During this period, Executive Producers Joe Davola and Mark Schwahn took notice of Mr. Goldfried's exceptional work and invited him to oversee the Ancillary Activities of "One Tree Hill," which encompassed Marketing and Promotions, Product Placement and Integrations. As a result, Mr. Goldfried rose through the ranks to become a Co-Producer and Director, making his directorial debut with episode 8.16, "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here," in January 2011.
Mr. Goldfried directed, produced, edited, and shot numerous behind-the-scenes videos to promote "One Tree Hill," as well as directed and produced the special features on the DVD boxed sets. In February 2012, he was recruited as one of the first producer/directors at Awesomeness TV, where he went on to produce and direct several successful series, including "Mindless Takeover," "Jacob Latimore Takeover," "Greyson Chance Takeover," and "Janoskians Takeover," garnering millions of total views.
The success of "Mindless Takeover" led to Mr. Goldfried being hired to produce and direct his feature film debut, the concert documentary "Mindless Behavior: All Around the World," which premiered on 125 screens across America in March 2013 and is now available on DVD, Blu-Ray, On Demand, iTunes, and more.
