Steven Brack is an Emmy Award-winning actor, renowned for his captivating performances in a variety of films, including the critically acclaimed documentary, Hialeah Speedway: No Guts, No Glory, and the horror film, Island of the Cannibal Death Gods.
Born in Miami, Florida, Steven Brack's early life took an exciting turn when he became a stock car racing champion at Miami's Hialeah Speedway in 1981. Little did he know that this experience would lay the foundation for his future career in the film industry.
Steven's journey in the world of cinema began in 2006, when he was discovered by renowned filmmaker, Jay W. Jensen, at the South Beach Ironworks Gym. Brack was screen-tested for the film adaptation of Tennessee Williams' one-act play, "The Palooka," which he landed, only to have the project shelved due to litigation.
Undeterred, Brack bounced back in 2007, starring in the University Of Miami produced comedy, "The Ace Of Pinecrest Fall," which won top honors at the 2007 UM Canes Film Festival, taking home the "Best Picture" award.
In 2010, Brack landed the lead role in the cult-classic horror film, Island of the Cannibal Death Gods, directed by Jeff Freeman, with whom he has since developed a working relationship, collaborating on several projects through Freeman's production company, 'Reality's Edge Films.'
However, it was his role as host and narrator of the PBS documentary film, Hialeah Speedway: No Guts, No Glory, that brought Brack his greatest success to date. For his outstanding performance, he was honored with the coveted Emmy Award by The National Academy Of Television Arts And Sciences in November 2013.
