Steve, a lifelong aficionado of the performing arts and nature enthusiast, has had a storied career in the world of acting. His first major role was a memorable one, as he took on the character of Gonzalo in his high school production of The Tempest. Since then, he has had the privilege of performing in over a hundred plays, films, and live events.
Growing up in Baltimore, Steve's passion for the arts was nurtured from a young age. He went on to study both Biology and Theater at St. Mary's College, where he had the unique opportunity to train in the traditional Japanese styles of Kabuki and Kyogen theater. In fact, he was part of the inaugural English translation of the Kabuki play "The Road to Kyoto," where he played the role of the cunning Samurai Oomura.
After completing his studies, Steve's interests shifted, and he pursued a career in veterinary care and biomedical research at the prestigious National Institutes of Health. During this time, he also found himself drawn to filmmaking, producing numerous short films in addition to his regular stage appearances throughout the region.
Steve's impressive resume also includes his association with Faction of Fools, one of the nation's leading Commedia dell'Arte Theater Companies, where he held the esteemed title of Associated Artist. His remarkable journey has taken him from the stage to the screen, and back again, solidifying his position as a talented and versatile performer.
