Stephen Perkins, a renowned musician, co-founded the iconic band "Jane's Addiction" in 1985 alongside Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, and Eric Avery Weiss. The group's impressive discography and electrifying live performances left a lasting impact on the music scene.
After "Jane's Addiction" disbanded in 1991, Perkins continued to collaborate with Perry Farrell, this time in the formation of "Porno for Pyros" in 1992. The duo released two albums before the project's eventual demise.
In 1997, Perkins reunited with Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro to revive "Jane's Addiction" once more. This time, Flea replaced Eric Avery Weiss on bass, and the band went on to release a new album, accompanied by a documentary film titled "Three Days" in 1999. The group's extensive touring schedule further solidified their reputation as a force to be reckoned with.
Beyond his work with "Jane's Addiction" and "Porno for Pyros," Stephen Perkins is also recognized for his all-star "Banyan" records, as well as his extensive list of session work, which continues to grow to this day.
