Stephen Joseph was born on December 2, 1988, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, to a talented mother, Carolyn, who was a gifted singer, and a father, Albert, who was a high school football, track, and baseball standout. He inherited his mother's remarkable singing ability and his father's exceptional athletic prowess. To support Stephen and his two brothers, Al Jr. and Chris, their parents worked as truck drivers. With a rich cultural heritage, Stephen is of Trinidadian, Indian, Irish, and African descent.
Growing up in Factoryville, Pennsylvania, Stephen spent his teenage years as an outstanding track and field athlete, earning All-District honors, while maintaining an impressive academic record. He then went on to attend Penn State University, where he was a talented wide receiver and cornerback under the guidance of Defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley and the legendary Coach Joe Paterno. Stephen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2011.
Currently based in Los Angeles, California, Stephen has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry, with notable roles in the TV series Betrayed and the critically acclaimed film Pieces, produced by Yarbrough Studios. His brothers, Al and Chris, are accomplished musicians in Los Angeles and beyond, having toured with their band, Hyvmine. Al is renowned as a Jam Track Central artist and is endorsed by Keisel Guitars. The three brothers continue to create music together, showcasing their unique talents and bond.
