Stephen Godchaux, a native of the vibrant city of New Orleans, embarked on a journey of academic excellence, graduating from the esteemed Dartmouth College and subsequently earning an MFA in Playwriting from the renowned Yale School of Drama.
His intellectual pursuits continued as he graduated from the prestigious Tulane University School of Law, paving the way for a successful career in law. Prior to his foray into the world of television, Godchaux practiced law for one of the oldest and most respected law firms in San Francisco, further solidifying his expertise.
However, his creative inclinations soon took center stage, and he made the transition to the entertainment industry, serving as the Executive Producer and head writer of the critically acclaimed series "Dead Like Me" on Showtime. His impressive portfolio also includes writing television pilots for various networks, including CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC, FX, TNT, and USA.
Godchaux's talent and dedication have earned him recognition, including a nomination for a Writers Guild Award for Best Original Television Movie for his film "Charlotte," which was part of the film anthology "Five" on Lifetime.
