Stephen Don grew up in County Down, Northern Ireland. He ventured to London to pursue an acting career, where he gained recognition for his performances in the West End play, The Weir. After returning to his home in 2000, Don carved out a successful career as a character actor in television and film. His notable roles include the revenge-driven father in Michael J. Bassett's Wilderness and a key scene opposite Julie Walters in a biopic of Mo Mowlam for television.
