Stephanie Barber is an American artist and writer born in 1979 in Cleveland, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Cleveland Institute of Art and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.

Barber's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Brooklyn Art Library.

Her writing has been published in various literary journals and anthologies, including the prestigious literary magazine, Tin House.
