Sol Marina, a talented individual, hails from the picturesque town of Caimito Alto, nestled in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. Her creative journey began at a tender age, when she penned her inaugural play in the second grade, setting the stage for a lifelong passion for performing arts. As she grew, so did her artistic pursuits, culminating in her graduation from the esteemed New York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies.
During her time at the Tisch School of the Arts, Marina immersed herself in the Experimental Theatre Wing, honing her skills in physical theater, clowning, movement, and creating her own original work. This multifaceted training has served as a solid foundation for her subsequent endeavors as an actress, allowing her to effortlessly transition between television, film, and the stage.
Currently based in The Bronx, Marina continues to make a name for herself as a versatile and accomplished performer. Moreover, she has also developed a flair for crafting witty one-liners, which she brings to her writing for both stage and screen.
