Born in a small town situated near the vibrant city of Jaipur, Sohum embarked on a journey to pursue his passion for filmmaking by relocating to the bustling metropolis of Mumbai. With a vision to create content-driven films, he founded his own production house, Recyclewala Films, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial venture in the film industry.
The debut film of his production house was the critically-acclaimed "Ship of Theseus", in which Sohum played the role of a socially oblivious stockbroker. His exceptional performance in the film earned him a prestigious National Award for Best Producer, a testament to his dedication and perseverance.
Sohum's subsequent role as a cop in the film "Talvar", which was based on the 2008 Noida double murder case, garnered widespread acclaim from the audience, further solidifying his position as a talented actor and producer.
