Biography

Simone Ashley's initial foray into acting was marked by a pair of appearances in the fantasy teen drama Wolfblood, where she played the role of Zuhra. This was followed by a series of guest roles in the thriller Guilt and the crime drama Broadchurch, demonstrating her versatility as an actress.

In 2018, Ashley made her feature film debut with a small but significant role in Boogie Man, playing the character of Aarti, and a more substantial role in Kill Ben Lyk, where she portrayed one of the many characters named Ben Lyk.

Between 2019 and 2021, Ashley took on the recurring role of Olivia Hanan in the popular Netflix comedy-drama Sex Education, showcasing her range as an actress. She also appeared in the ITV psychological thriller miniseries The Sister, playing the character of Elise Fox, in 2020.

In 2020, Ashley auditioned for a role, and it was subsequently announced in February 2021 that she would star as the leading lady Kate opposite Jonathan Bailey as Anthony in the second season of the Shondaland-produced Netflix romance period drama Bridgerton, based on the second novel in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series, The Viscount Who Loved Me. The season was released in March 2022.
