Biography

Simon's professional journey commenced as a commercials director, garnering widespread recognition and prestigious accolades within the advertising industry, including the coveted D&AD award. Subsequently, he transitioned to longer-form content, creating several documentary-dramas for television, while also penning, producing, and directing two short films that showcased his distinct cinematic flair. This unique style ultimately led to his first feature film endeavor, "Blessed", and he has since collaborated with an array of high-profile talent both in front of and behind the camera on a total of seven feature film projects to date. In addition, Simon made his theatrical play directing debut with "The Two Faces of Agent Lacey" in London's esteemed West End, and has recently completed his latest feature film, "Steel Country", which garnered the Best International Feature award at the Galway Film Festival in 2018.
