Sid is a multifaceted creative individual who has honed his skills in various artistic disciplines. He began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Graphic Design from the esteemed Maryland Institute College of Art in 2006. Not one to rest on his laurels, Sid seized the opportunity to further his education during the economic downturn of 2009, traveling to Mumbai, India to attend Whistling Woods International. This bold move allowed him to specialize in film direction and screenwriting, culminating in the attainment of an Associate in Film Arts in 2011. With his dual degrees in design and filmmaking, Sid brings a unique blend of artistic expression and storytelling prowess to every project he undertakes.
As a creative influence, Sid draws inspiration from the works of Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, and Alexander Calder, while also being heavily influenced by the cinematic masterpieces of Truffaut, Goddard, Scorsese, M. Night Shyamalan, and Alfonso Cuarón. His favorite films include "The 400 Blows", "Breathless", "Mean Streets", "Memento", "The Sixth Sense", and "Y Tu Mamá También".
Currently, Sid is actively seeking production or management representation for his debut feature-length screenplay, "White Calm", a thought-provoking psychological/sci-fi thriller that showcases his unique storytelling abilities.
