Born into a family with a rich musical heritage, Shweta is the grand-niece of the renowned Indian classical vocalist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, Pandit Jasraj. Her family's influence on her life and career is evident in her ability to effortlessly navigate the world of music.
Shweta's journey in the music industry began at a tender age of 4, when she worked with the legendary Indian composer, Ilayaraja, on the award-winning film Anjali. Her role in the film was significant, as she not only recorded a song for the film but also dubbed for the lead role in Hindi, making her one of the youngest singers in the Bollywood Music Industry at the time.
As she grew older, Shweta continued to make a name for herself in the industry, recording popular songs for various Telugu and Tamil films, as well as other Indian languages.
