Shon Lange's early life was shaped by his upbringing in the southern suburbs of Chicago, a city that would later play a significant role in his artistic development.
At the age of 21, Lange made the bold decision to join the military, where he stood tall at an impressive 6'4" and weighed a lean 148lbs. However, his time in the military took a toll on his physical health, and he left the service four years later at a weight of 245lbs.
Despite this setback, Lange's determination and resilience led him to pursue a new path. He found himself speaking in front of a massive audience of 30,000 people at the RBC Center in North Carolina, a testament to his growing confidence and public speaking skills.
Following his military service, Lange attended The Second City in Chicago, a renowned improv comedy institution that has launched the careers of many notable actors and comedians. This training ground would prove invaluable in shaping his comedic instincts and preparing him for the demands of the entertainment industry.
Currently, Lange is honing his craft under the guidance of the talented Benjamin Byron Davis in Los Angeles. His impressive resume already boasts appearances in a range of TV shows and films, including NCIS: Los Angeles, Marvel's Agents of Shield, Scandal, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and American Crime Story - Impeachment.
Through his tireless efforts and dedication to his craft, Lange is determined to break the mold of the traditional Hollywood actor, paving the way for a more diverse and inclusive representation of actors of all shapes and sizes.
