Shivam Nair is a renowned Indian filmmaker and television director, distinguished for his remarkable work on television serials and feature films. He is perhaps best known for his television series, Sea Hawks, and his 2006 film, Ahista Ahista.
Nair has been an integral part of the television industry since 1982, having been involved in numerous television series throughout his illustrious career. In the early 1990s, he assisted Sriram Raghavan on the docudrama Raman Raghav, A City, A Killer (1991),a gripping portrayal of the notorious serial killer Raman Raghav. Nair has also directed and edited three other docudramas based on serial killers and murderers, namely Auto Shankar, Ranga Billa, and Feroz Daruwalla.
Ahista Ahista, a thought-provoking film scripted by Imtiaz Ali, marked Nair's directorial debut in the feature film world. His most recent film, Maharathi, based on the play by Uttam Gada, was released in 2008. In 2015, Nair's thriller film Bhaag Johnny, starring Kunal Khemu and Zoa Morani, hit the screens. Produced by T Series, the film promises to be a thrilling ride for audiences.
