Shiri's early foray into the world of acting began when she was still a youngster, captivating audiences with her performances in Norman Lear's Sunday Dinner and Lawrence Kasden's I Love You To Death. As she grew older, she landed her breakout role at the tender age of 19, playing the leading character of Liz Parker in the popular television series Roswell. This marked the beginning of a long and illustrious career, with Shiri going on to appear in a wide range of critically acclaimed shows, including ER, Six Degrees, and Mike Nichols' Charlie Wilson's War.
Her impressive resume also includes appearances in HBO's GIRLS, CW's Life Unexpected, and Lifetime's critically acclaimed dramady UnReal, where she played the complex and intriguing character of Rachel Goldberg, a producer working behind the scenes of a dating competition show. The show received the prestigious Peabody Award, and Shiri's performance earned her a nomination for a Critics Choice Award for Best Actress in 2016.
In addition to her impressive acting credentials, Shiri has also made a name for herself as a talented director. She directed four episodes of UnReal before shifting her focus primarily to directing, and has since worked on a diverse range of shows across all platforms, including Minx, UnPrisoned, Blackish, New Amsterdam, and Young Sheldon, among many others.
