Shélan O'Keefe, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of Chicago, where she currently resides with her loving parents, younger sister Xenia, and, unfortunately, no furry friends to share her life with.
Shélan's impressive debut in the film industry came with her first feature film, "Grace is Gone", showcasing her remarkable acting skills. In addition to her passion for acting, Shélan has a multifaceted personality, with interests ranging from playing baseball and guitar to reading, knitting, drawing, and collecting antique keys and rare, old photographs.
Her dedication to empowering young girls in the music industry is evident through her involvement with GirlsRock!Chicago, a summer camp that fosters creativity and confidence in girls through rock music. Over the course of two summers, Shélan has formed her own rock bands, written original songs, and even performed at esteemed venues like Shuba's and The Metro in Chicago. Her band had the esteemed honor of opening for the renowned Nina Hagen at last year's EstroJam.
When she's not busy with her acting or music endeavors, Shélan is attempting to teach herself the languages of French and Greek, and she is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her future canine companion.
