Sharon grew up surrounded by the arts in Marin County, California, where her father, a successful trumpet player and bandleader, and her mother, who had a background in theatre, instilled in her a deep appreciation for creative expression. Following in their footsteps, Sharon pursued a career in writing, which would ultimately lead her to become a renowned screenwriter.
Sharon's most notable achievements include adapting the 3rd and 4th novels from the New York Times best-selling YA franchise "After" into films, which both debuted at number one on Netflix globally. She also adapted the first two books from the New York Times best-selling franchise "Marked Men," with the first movie, "Rule & Shaw," released in January 2025 and directed by Nic Cassavetes, achieving number one in France and Latin America and top 10 on iTunes in the US and Australia. The second movie in the franchise, "Jet," is scheduled to go into production later this year.
In addition to her work on the "Marked Men" franchise, Sharon wrote the TV movie "Love on the Air," which became the number one cable movie of the week. Her feature script, based on the inspirational true story of the unruly stray dog who won the Westminster Dog Show, is set for production in Fall 2025, with Tony Fabian directing.
Sharon is also developing a romantic comedy, "Meet Me at Bloome's," with Happy Accidents Productions, and has several other film and TV projects in active development, including "Hot," the extraordinary story of the fearless women who built Palm Springs into the Shangri-La it is today.
Throughout her career, Sharon has written for a wide range of clients, including Amazon, Disney, Fox, Hulu, Netflix, Participant Media, eOne, Voltage, Girls' Club Entertainment, Nickelodeon, and Freeform.
