Shane Kinsman is a gifted actor who, alongside his identical twin brother Brent Kinsman, has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry.
His remarkable journey as an actor began when he was discovered by a talent agent while attending a Los Angeles Dodgers game at the tender age of four. Initially, neither Shane nor Brent had aspirations to become actors, but the agent saw great potential in the twins and encouraged them to start auditioning. The family decided to give it a try, and the Kinsman twins went on their first audition, subsequently landing their first job - a national Tylenol commercial.
Shortly after, Shane booked his early breakthrough role in the 2003 blockbuster feature film family comedy Cheaper by the Dozen, and its 2005 sequel Cheaper By the Dozen 2, where he and his brother Brent portrayed the rambunctious twins "Kyle and Nigel Baker," opposite Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt. Additionally, the twins starred, alongside each other, in the first four seasons of the Emmy Award-winning hit ABC TV comedy-drama series Desperate Housewives, playing the roles of "Porter and Preston Scavo," the twin sons of "Lynnette Scavo" (Felicity Huffman),from 2004 to 2008.
In 2008, the twins decided to take a hiatus from their busy acting careers to focus on family and education. Shane excelled in school, as well as football and baseball, and graduated from Maranatha High School in Pasadena, California, in 2016. He then enrolled at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, earning a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business with a minor in Entrepreneurship, graduating in 2020.
Shane and his brother Brent are eager to continue their careers in acting and are particularly passionate about pursuing film and television projects that embody authentic wholesome family values.
In his free time, Shane leads an active lifestyle, frequently practicing weight-lifting, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and yoga. He also enjoys other hobbies, including playing guitar, fly fishing, snowboarding, and motocross.
As a testament to his multifaceted personality, Shane has successfully navigated multiple pursuits, from acting to academics, and continues to pursue his passions with dedication and enthusiasm.
