Shane, a native Texan, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Directing/Acting from Southwest Texas State University. Following his graduation, he relocated to New York, where he continued to hone his craft in the world of theatre, film, and television. His impressive portfolio boasts a range of projects, including the Off-Broadway production "Dark Ride" at Soho Rep, a stint on the popular morning show "Good Morning America", and appearances in feature films such as "Waiting for Guffman", "Leap of Faith", and "Hollowman". Additionally, he has accumulated numerous regional commercial and television credits, including "New Detectives" and "Heaven Help Us".
In April 2005, Shane completed his first film, "Star Wars: Revelations", which quickly gained widespread recognition and became an internet phenomenon, with over 3 million downloads in just two months. The film received extensive coverage from prominent national and international press agencies, including CNN, CBS, MSNBC, CBC, USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, and the Los Angeles Times.
Building on the success of "Star Wars: Revelations", Shane went on to create his second film, "Pitching Lucas", which won both the George Lucas Selects and Audience Choice awards in 2006. This achievement marked a historic first, with one film claiming both top honors. Now, with the release of "Pitching Lucas" pending in 2008, Shane is hard at work on his next project, "Trenches", a science fiction action thriller that will debut as a web series.
