Biography

Born in the vibrant city of London, Shane Briant achieved academic distinction by topping the prestigious Law School at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

As a talented young actor, Briant's impressive debut was recognized by the London theatre critics, who nominated him as "Best Newcomer" in 1971. Throughout his illustrious career, he has appeared in an astonishing 32 feature films worldwide.

Some of his most notable roles include the iconic films "The Picture of Dorian Gray" (1973),"The Naked Civil Servant" (1975),"The Lighthorsemen" (1987),"The MacKintosh Man" (1973) directed by the legendary John Huston, and "Lady Chatterley's Lover" (1981).

Beyond his impressive acting career, Briant is also a published novelist, having authored five books in Australia. His novels include "The Webber Agenda", "The Chasen Catalyst", "Hitkids", "Bite of the Lotus", and his latest best-selling thriller, "Graphic", which was released in 2005.
