Seydina BALDÉ, a multifaceted individual with a rich background in both the entertainment and martial arts industries, was born and raised in the City of Light, Paris. For ten years, he resided in Canada, where he nurtured his passion for the movie industry since childhood.
As a young boy, Seydina began attending theatrical classes at the tender age of ten, showcasing his talent and eventually garnering attention for his performances. His early start in the world of acting laid the foundation for a successful career that would span two decades and encompass over 25 roles.
Prior to rekindling his passion for acting, Seydina had a notable stint as a karate world champion in the early 2000s. This impressive achievement demonstrates his dedication, discipline, and natural aptitude for physical pursuits.
As a seasoned actor, Seydina has had the privilege of working on numerous international projects, including the critically acclaimed "James Bond" film "Casino Royale," "Danny the Dog," and the Amazon and Canal+ produced TV series "ZeroZeroZero." His impressive filmography also boasts the action-drama movie "Hound of War," starring Frank Grillo and Robert Patrick.
Beyond his acting endeavors, Seydina has also established himself as a producer, with his company Aeternalis Films responsible for producing over a dozen short films, corporate films, and an action-thriller feature film, "The Borderland" or "Covert Operation," which was distributed by the prestigious Lionsgate studio in 2015.
In 2020, Seydina founded Shimazu Productions, a production company focused on genre content. Two years later, he co-created, wrote, starred in, and co-produced, alongside Alexandre Rideau from Keewu Production, the action-martial arts program "Lex Africana" with Mediawan and Canal+. This groundbreaking 6-episode TV series, entirely shot in Senegal, is set to premiere on Canal+ in late April 2024 and on the cable channel Action in October 2024.
