Sébastien Blanc, a cinematic visionary, hails from Lugano, Switzerland, where he was born as the youngest of four brothers. From a tender age of 10, he began crafting short films, honing his skills as a director and writer. This early passion for filmmaking continued until 2011, when he made the bold decision to relocate to Bologna, Italy, to pursue a deeper understanding of screenwriting and directing at the prestigious Accademia del Cinema di Bologna.
This move proved to be a pivotal moment in his career, as it led to a brief stint at the renowned UCLA in the United States. Sébastien's thirst for knowledge and expertise eventually drew him to the Met Film School, located within the historic Ealing Studios in London, United Kingdom. It was here that he earned a Bachelor of Arts in filmmaking, graduating with first-class honours in 2015.
Since then, Sébastien has divided his time between London and his hometown of Lugano, where he co-founded Lakeside Pictures, a production company, alongside his colleague and friend Marco Stegmaier. This partnership has enabled him to bring his creative vision to life, as he continues to push the boundaries of storytelling and cinematic innovation.
