Akchoté, a renowned music producer, has been an integral part of Ed Banger Records since 2005. Under the moniker SebastiAn, he has amassed a vast solo discography, while also lending his production skills to numerous other artists. His impressive résumé boasts remixes for iconic acts such as Daft Punk and the Beastie Boys, among many others.
Beyond his work as a producer, Akchoté has also explored his creative talents in the realm of acting. His label-mate Quentin Dupieux, aka Mr. Oizo, tapped him to both act and compose for the 2007 film Steak. In addition, Akchoté made a brief appearance in the 2008 tour documentary A Cross the Universe, directed by So Me and Romain Gavras, who also happen to be label-mates and frequent collaborators.
Sebastian's artistic partnership with Gavras continued as he composed the score for Gavras' feature film Our Day Will Come, released in 2010.
