Seann William Scott was born in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, to PatriciaAnne Simons and William Frank Scott, a factory worker. His early life was marked by a chance discovery at a talent competition in Los Angeles, which led to a whirlwind journey to New York by ABC to test for the iconic soap opera All My Children, first broadcast in 1970.
Before his big break, Seann's face was already familiar to many, thanks to his appearance in a national Sunny Delight commercial, showcasing his impressive basketball skills. More recently, he has been featured in an American Express campaign alongside the legendary Magic Johnson.
Seann's extensive television credits include a lead role in the ABC sitcom Something So Right, which premiered in 1996. He has also lent his talents to several notable projects, including a lead role in Aerosmith's music video for "Hole in My Soul," taken from their album "Nine Lives." Prior to this, Seann worked alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar, star of Saved by the Bell, and Talia Shire, best known for her role in Rocky, on the NBC movie of the week Born Into Exile, released in 1997.
In addition to his film and television work, Seann has had a recurring role in the Warner Brothers TV series Unhappily Ever After, which debuted in 1995, and has made appearances on Sweet Valley High, a popular television series that aired from 1994 to 1997.
