Sean Conant, a multifaceted individual, was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, but spent most of his life in New Hampshire. Growing up, he developed a strong work ethic, working alongside his father, an electrician, on various job sites.
Sean's exposure to literature was largely influenced by his older brother Todd, who introduced him to the works of renowned authors and poets such as Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Ken Kesey, and many others.
Sean's foray into the film industry began with "Click", an independent feature film that was shooting near his hometown. During this project, he befriended Director of Photography Robert Schoenhut, with whom he remains close to this day.
In addition to his work in film, Sean is also a skilled pianist and has recorded an album titled "An Auchamore". Furthermore, he is a talented still photographer, having shot photographs for the film "Click" in addition to his role as 1st/2nd Assistant Camera.
For many years, Sean worked as a celebrity photographer, during which time he had the opportunity to meet and work with a wide range of celebrities, including Matt Damon, Zac Efron, Elvis Costello, Ryan Sheckler, Louise Fletcher, Julian Lennon, Method Man, Simon Cowell, Kevin Nealon, Nicole Richie, Ed Asner, and many more.
Sean Conant has a deep interest in the life of Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War era. In 2013, he produced "The Gettysburg Address", a feature-length documentary film commemorating the 150th Anniversary of America's most famous speech. This film, featuring Matthew Broderick, Tom Brokaw, and several leading historians, marks the first production under his new Rising Picture Company banner.
