Scott Mauro is a renowned Executive Producer, creator of theatrical productions, live events, and corporate event planning in Los Angeles. Prior to establishing his own production company, Scott Mauro Entertainment, Inc., in 1993, Mauro was the Director of Network Specials for Walt Disney Television, serving as Executive Producer and Creative Director on all Disney's NBC specials.
Mauro has been involved in producing many award-winning events, including UNICEF concert events, the NY Pops 30th Anniversary Concert at Carnegie Hall, the Museum of the Moving Image's Salute to Julianne Moore, and the 2011 Tony Award for Best Costume Design for Priscilla: Queen of the Desert.
On Broadway, Mauro was a Producer of the critically acclaimed revival of The Glass Menagerie, starring Cherry Jones and Zachary Quinto, which won the 2014 Outer Critics Circle Award, the Drama Desk Award, and was nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Play. He was also a Producer of the hit musical, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Costume Design.
