Scott Kannberg, professionally known as Spiral Stairs, is the talented singer-songwriter behind his solo musical project, "The Preston School Of Industry". Following the disbandment of Pavement in the year 2000, Kannberg decided to embark on a new creative venture, forming "The Preston School Of Industry". The band's debut album, "All This Sounds Gas", was released in 2001 on the esteemed Matador Records label.
Fast forward to 2004, Kannberg unveiled the band's sophomore effort, "Monsoon", once again on Matador Records. Throughout his musical career, Kannberg has demonstrated his versatility and dedication to his craft.
In addition to his work with "The Preston School Of Industry", Kannberg is also the proud owner of a record label, Amazing Grease Records. This venture allows him to support emerging artists and provide a platform for new music to flourish.
