Scot, a talented screenwriter, boasts an impressive list of credits in the film industry. His notable works include "Old School", "Road Trip", "School For Scoundrels", "Starsky & Hutch", "Heartbreak Kid", "Semi Pro", "Search Party", and "Hangover Part II", with uncredited contributions to "Elf" and "Bad Santa". Additionally, he created, wrote, and directed the comedy series "Dice" for Showtime, which premiered in 2016.

In 2015, Scot took on the role of director for the independent feature "Search Party". His extensive production experience includes executive producing and producing various projects for film and television, such as the movie "Hesher", network pilots "Off Duty" and "Problem Child", and television shows "Best Friends Forever", "Animal Practice", and "Playing House", which is currently airing on USA.

Born in Chicago, Scot's early interest in comedy led him to study improvisational techniques under the guidance of Del Close at the Improv Olympic. He further honed his skills at the Second City and has been a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since its inception.
