Sasha Andreev's life began in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he resided until the age of nine, when he relocated to the Minneapolis, Minnesota suburbs with his family. It was during his childhood in Minneapolis that he discovered his passion for theater, participating in local productions that nurtured his early interest in the performing arts.
As he grew older, Sasha's passion for acting only intensified, leading him to move to New York City to attend Stuyvesant High School. Following his high school education, he pursued a degree in Drama at Vassar College, supplementing his studies with training at the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill (I) Theater Center and the Moscow Art Theater.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama, Sasha was accepted into the 2003-04 Apprentice Company at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, where he had the opportunity to perform in the esteemed Humana Festival of New American Plays.
As an accomplished actor, Sasha has appeared in a variety of independent films, including "Phasma Ex Machina," "How You Look to Me" alongside Frank Langella, and the cult horror film "Hagstone Demon" featuring Mark Borchardt. In addition to his work in film, Sasha remains active in the theater world, having performed at renowned institutions such as the Guthrie and Theatre de la Jeune Lune, and was honored as "Outstanding New Face in Theater" by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Beyond his numerous television and film appearances, Sasha is perhaps best known for his work as the host of the popular exterior renovation series "Curb Appeal" and the "Trash to Treasure" guy on the long-running HGTV show "Decorating Cents," which premiered in 1997.
