Sascha Rice is a renowned filmmaker, accomplished public speaker, and dedicated teacher, boasting a distinguished lineage as the granddaughter of California's former Governor Pat Brown, niece of the current Governor Jerry Brown, and daughter of the former State Treasurer Kathleen Brown.

Her remarkable documentary, California State of Mind, has garnered widespread recognition, including a Grand Jury Prize for Cinematic Vision, and has been screened across the nation, with appearances in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, DC, and throughout California.
