Sasa Anocic, a renowned thespian, was born in the vibrant city of Osijek in 1968. After completing his formal education at the prestigious Drama Academy in 1998, he embarked on a successful career in the performing arts.
Initially, he left his mark on the Osijek Croatian National Theatre, before joining the esteemed troupe of ZKM. It was in 2003 that he became a valued member of the actors' ensemble at "Tresnja", where he has since made a lasting impact.
Beyond his impressive work as an actor, Anocic has also demonstrated his exceptional talent as a director. His notable credits include "Neighbourhood Upside Down" at HNK Ivan pl. Zajc, "Knives in Hens" and "Only God Knows It" at the Theatre Exit, as well as "When the Dead are Slaughtered", "Alice", and "Pinocchio" at his home theatre "Tresnja". Not only did he bring his creative vision to the stage as a director, but he also took on the additional roles of dramatization, illumination, and movement design, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft.
