Biography

Sarah Snook was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, where she initially showcased her impressive performing arts skills at a young age, subsequently earning a scholarship to study drama at Scotch College, Adelaide. Following her high school graduation, she was accepted into the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) and successfully completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) degree in 2008.

Starting out in theatre in Sydney, Sarah demonstrated her remarkable talent, ultimately being named the runner-up in the 2011 Australians in Film Heath Ledger Scholarship. Since then, she has worked extensively in film and television in Australia, garnering numerous awards from esteemed organizations such as the Australian Academy for Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA),the Film Critic's Circle of Australia (FCCA),and the Australian Film Critics Association (AFCA) for her outstanding performances in films like Predestination (2014),Sisters of War (2010),Not Suitable for Children (2012),and These Final Hours (2013).

Internationally, Sarah has made a significant impact in the film industry, starring in notable films such as Steve Jobs (2015) and The Glass Castle (2017). Her television credits include an appearance in the Netflix series Black Mirror (2011). On stage, Sarah made her West End debut in 2016, sharing the spotlight with Ralph Fiennes in The Old Vic's production of Henrik Ibsen's "The Master Builder".

In 2017, Sarah completed filming for two Australian productions, Winchester (2018) and Brothers' Nest (2018),before heading to New York to shoot the first season of HBO's series Succession (2018).
