Sarah Siegel-Magness is a highly accomplished and innovative entrepreneur, co-founder, and managing partner of Smokewood Entertainment, a production company she founded alongside her husband Gary Magness. With a keen eye for storytelling and a passion for creating positive and impactful content, Sarah has produced the award-winning film Precious (2009) and executive produced the critically acclaimed feature Tennessee (2008).
Sarah's impressive credits also include upcoming projects based on the popular Judy Moody young adult book series and a documentary that follows an indigenous tribe in Brazil as they work towards self-sufficiency. Through Smokewood, Sarah and Gary aim to produce films that convey positive messages to diverse audiences.
Before venturing into the entertainment industry, Sarah earned a degree from the University of Colorado's School of Business. She then pursued a brief career in the music industry before launching her own young women's clothing line, So Low, which is still thriving today. The line is sold at upscale retailers nationwide and has earned Sarah recognition as a young entrepreneur.
At the age of 30, Sarah was nominated for the prestigious Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and has since become an active member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, a global nonprofit education organization. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her craft have earned her a reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
A Colorado native, Sarah currently resides in Denver with her husband Gary and their family. She is deeply committed to giving back to her community and is involved with several philanthropic organizations, including the Food Bank of the Rockies, Energy Up, and The Fresh Air Fund.
