Sarah Chalke, a talented Canadian actress, was born on August 27, 1976, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She is the middle child of Angie Chalke and Doug Chalke, with an older sister, Natasha Chalke, and a younger sister, Piper Chalke.
Sarah's acting career began with a made-for-TV movie, City Boy, in 1992. The following year, she auditioned for the role of "Becky" on the popular TV series Roseanne, which was looking for a replacement after Alicia Goranson's departure to pursue higher education.
During her time on Roseanne, Sarah graduated from high school in 1995. In addition to her work on the show, she co-starred in the film Ernest Goes to School in 1994 alongside Jim Varney.
In 1996, Sarah starred in two films, Robin of Locksley and Stand Against Fear, in which she played the role of a cheerleader, Krista Wilson. After Roseanne ended in 1997, Sarah was asked to act in the TV series Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy in 1998, which was based on a TV movie of the same name that she was also a part of.
