Sanjay Soorkar, a renowned director and writer, entered this world on August 19, 1959, in the quaint town of Deoli, Wardha, which was then part of the State of Bombay, India.
As a creative force to be reckoned with, Soorkar made his mark on the film industry with his notable works, including "Aai Shappath..!" in 2006, "Stand By" in 2011, and "Saatchya Aat Gharat" in 2004.
However, his life came to a tragic end on September 27, 2012, in the city of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
