Biography

Alexander Eaton "Sandy" Simpson, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, where he spent his early years on the move due to his father's occupation as a traveling salesman. This nomadic lifestyle continued until the family finally settled in the picturesque coastal town of Newport Beach, California, in 1963.

Simpson's foray into the world of acting began on a whim, prompted by his friends' dare to audition for the senior class play. This bold move led to a star-studded performance alongside the talented Kelly McGillis and Lauren Mitchell.

Throughout his illustrious career, Simpson has made a lasting impression on audiences, particularly for his iconic role in the science fiction classic "V: The Final Battle." His versatility as an actor has also been showcased through his recurring appearances on popular television shows such as "Off The Rack" with Ed Asner and Eileen Brennan, "The Paper Chase" with John Houseman, and numerous guest spots.

As a sought-after voice-over artist, Simpson has lent his distinctive voice to various projects, including a three-season stint as the "voice" of "The Martha Stewart Show" on NBC, as well as campaigns for U.S. Cellular and GEICO. In addition, he has served as the spokesperson for Shell Oil for an impressive seven years.
