Biography

Sandrine's academic journey began with a focus on music, where she honed her skills in cello, opera, and music composition. She then pursued higher education at Concordia University, graduating with a degree in Film Production. Her academic achievements did not go unnoticed, and she was subsequently accepted into the prestigious Drama Centre London, where she earned a master's degree in Classical Acting. This academic trifecta of music, film, and drama laid the foundation for Sandrine's future endeavors.

As her education came to a close, Sandrine had the extraordinary opportunity to tread the boards of the Shakespeare Globe in London and the esteemed Vaktangov Theatre in Russia. Upon her return to Montreal, she continued to expand her skills by attending Feature Writing classes at l'INIS from 2011 to 2012.

Sandrine has since directed an impressive 15 short films that have garnered international recognition, showcasing her remarkable talent behind the camera. In addition to her personal projects, she has also had the privilege of collaborating with renowned directors. Her internship with Denis Villeneuve on the critically acclaimed film Incendies (micro_scope) was a valuable learning experience, followed by her role as personal assistant to Daniel Roby on the historical feature Louis Cyr (Christal Films).

Beyond her work as a director, Sandrine has also established herself as a talented actor. Her recent credits include a choir director in La Passion d'Augustine (Léa Pool),Lady Anne in the short film Shakespeare from Montreal (Anik Salas),and a cousin/cellist in Ruby pleine de marde (Jean-Guillaume Bastien).
