Biography

Samy Naceri, a talented individual, was born in the City of Light, Paris, to an Algerian father and a French mother. He grew up in the suburbs of Paris, surrounded by a large family of seven siblings, in a humble environment.

From a young age, Samy had a burning passion for making movies. Despite facing numerous challenges and putting in years of tireless effort, he finally got his big break when he met a renowned casting director, Bruno Delahaye, who offered him his first significant role, Nordine, in the film "Rai" directed by Thomas Gilou.

Samy's outstanding performance in "Rai" earned him the prestigious "Léopard de Bronze" award at the Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland in 1995, as well as a special mention at the Paris Film Festival. This marked the beginning of his illustrious career.

Over time, Samy's career continued to flourish, and he went on to win the coveted Palm d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for his exceptional performance in the movie "Indigènes" directed by Rachid Bouchareb in 2006.

Today, Samy Naceri resides in three cities: Paris, Moscow, and Los Angeles, a testament to his global reach and influence in the world of cinema.
