This talented individual embarked on a journey of self-discovery and artistic expression by enrolling at the prestigious George Brown Theatre School in Toronto, where they honed their craft and laid the foundation for a successful career in the performing arts.
Prior to devoting themselves fully to their passion for acting, they spent five years working in the service industry, where they developed essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management. This valuable experience not only helped them to appreciate the importance of hard work and dedication but also provided a unique perspective that would later influence their approach to their craft.
During this period, they also dabbled in various forms of theatre work, including plays, musicals, and the occasional commercial. In addition to their individual pursuits, they were also part of a Toronto-based sketch comedy group, the Atomic Fireballs, which they co-founded with three other talented women. This collaborative environment provided a platform for them to express themselves creatively, push the boundaries of their comedic talents, and develop a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose with their fellow artists.
Through these diverse experiences, they were able to maintain a strong sense of their comedic bent, even as they explored other creative outlets and challenges. This ability to balance their artistic pursuits with their personal interests and passions has been a hallmark of their career, allowing them to stay true to themselves and continue to grow as a talented and innovative performer.
