Sam Kadi is a multifaceted creative professional renowned for his work as a director, writer, and producer, having made significant impacts through his projects such as The Citizen in 2012, Little Gandhi, which was an official selection for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 90th Academy Awards, and Lamya's Poem in 2022.
Kadi's remarkable career has led to numerous invitations, including screening Little Gandhi and delivering a speech before esteemed audiences, including U.S. Members of Congress, Members of the United Nations, Amnesty International, and the Canadian Parliament. During this event, Kadi had the privilege of meeting Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Kadi's dedication to raising awareness about human rights issues through his work has been recognized by the prestigious Cinema For Peace organization, which invited him to speak about the same subject before the International Criminal Court at The Hague, The Netherlands. Additionally, he received a Humanitarian Service Award from the Life for Relief and Development Organization.
In 2014, The SHOAH Foundation, founded by acclaimed director Steven Spielberg, selected Kadi as a Spotlight Juror. As a TEDx speaker, Kadi is also a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA),where he serves on the Guild Asian American committee.
